Your Mission: Scurry around our Nations Capital on a hunt for forgotten places, off the wall items, and little known facts! The Hunt will test your ability to solve clues, crunch mind bending riddles and plot your game winning strategy as you go head to head with dozens hundreds, of other DC hunters!
Your Reward:After the Hunt you’ll be treated to an after-party that will be located smack dab in the middle of our Nation’s Capital. You’ll lounge in the shade of the Washington Monument as you enjoy cool music, free snacks & water, and if you snag a VIP ticket, a few cold brewskees for the adults! We’ll also have Cornhole boards, Monster Pong and Bocce games set up so you and your friends can continue the fun!
UPDATE: Because of the size of the hunt, the chilly weather and the excessive wind (35 MPH GUSTS!!), the finish line has been moved off of the National Mall. The start will still be located at 15th and Constitution NW. Once released Teams will report to the finish line at FADO Irish Pub in Chinatown, located at 808 7th Street NW. There you will be checked in and your points tallied. There will be an after party, snacks, and Bud Light beer specials. We estimate that we will finish tallying all of your scores and announce the winners at roughly 5 O’clock!

Question:Is the registration cost for a team or an individual?
Each registration ticket is good for one member of your team. If your team has 8 members each player will have to purchase a ticket! If it has 4, you’ll need 4 tickets. Each ticket must be purchased online and individually so that our player waiver form may be filled out!
Question:How do people join my team? How do I join my friends team?
When you register you will be prompted to enter a team name, make sure that everyone on your team enters the same name when the register for the Hunt!
Question:How many members do I need on my team?
This is your Hunt! You may included as many or as few teammates as you’d like! Though for the most fun we recommend having between 4-6 players on your team!
Question:Do I have to be a member of USS to particpate?
Absolutely not! United Social Sport organizes fun activities to bring people together. Our Scavenger Hunts are a great way to bring people together for some good old fashioned fun and are open to the general public!
Question:Do I need to be super athletic for this Hunt?
Nope! We design our hunts to focus on problem solving, multitasking, and quick wits more than physical ability.
Question:What should I wear?
We recommend you come dressed to move around and explore the city! You’ll be moving about the city on foot and on public transportation so being comfortable is important!
Question:What should I bring with me?
We recommend that your team has a bookbag for the objects you’ll need to collect, a digital camera for the photo’s you’ll need to take and a small amount of cash. From time to time our Hunts may include you bringing in a receipt from your cities most famous hotspots or it’s hidden gems! (your team should never have to spend more than $5!). Additionally while we provide water at the start of your trek you may get thirsty and or hungry along the way! You’ll want to be sure you plan ahead for any money needed for those “Mid game” munchies!
Question:What is your weather policy?
Because of the massive amount of planning that goes into our events and the anticipation and excitement of our players we will hold our event rain or shine. However, if dangerous weather conditions exist you will be updated through email and will be able to check our website for up to the minute status reports!
Question:Are we allowed to use Iphones, Blackberrys, Ipads or other electronic devices?
We understand nearly everyone has one of these amazing devices so you are welcome to use any piece of equipment you are willing to lug around on your trip!
Question:Can we use taxis? What about Bikes? Roller Blades? Horse Drawn Carriages?
We commend your creativity! But please the ONLY modes of transportation currently allowed are: Walking, Running, Subway Systems (Metro) and Public Bus Systems! If you have a mode your not sure about, please feel free to email USS at firstname.lastname@example.org to ask!
Question:Is this Hunt hard? How long will it take us?
United Social Sports designs our Hunts to be both challenging but accessible! We want all of our participants to have a fun and exciting time exploring their city and flexing their problem solving skills. The average time for most of our Hunts is between 3 hours, though some teams may finish faster and some may take a bit longer!
Question:Do you have age requirements for participation?
We welcome participants of all ages! If a team has players under the age of 21 there must be at east one member who is 21 or older. Anyone under the age of 12 is welcome to play for free! Please note that some items / activities MAY include entering a bar or drinking establishment. If this is the case only those age 21 or older may participate in that portion of the Hunt.
